MAINTENANCE UTILITY

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs various job functions within department.  Fills in at vacant positions as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Assists mechanics and electricians with material handling and clean-up.
  2. Sorts and organizes spare parts.
  3. Cleans dirt and debris from equipment removed from service.
  4. Does painting as directed.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Fills various jobs in departments when needed.
  2. Keeps area clean and organized.
  3. Helps clean department
  4. Utilizes all company-issued personal protective equipment while on company property.
  5. Demonstrates the willingness and ability to follow all Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines applicable.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  1. Excellent people skills and strong communication skills.
  2. Ability to lift 60 lbs. required.
  3. Ability to keep focused and organized for long periods of time.
  4. Ability to work under pressure with problem solving skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
